To create thisenvironment of equality, the organization will provide the following: aresource center with local and national resources, as well as educationalliterature; programming to raise awareness, build and grow a sense ofcommunity, and provide support and visibility on the Virginia Tech campus andin the New River Valley."

LGBT Caucus - "The LGBT Caucus at Virginia Tech is committed to advancing equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people and their families. The caucus seeks to improve the lives of LGBT individuals both at the University and in the New River Valley community through educational programming, social activities, public service, and outreach.Together with our allies, we strive to share information and initiate progressive community change as we visibly work for social justice and human rights."
Ex Lapide Alumni Association - "Ex Lapide (Latin for “Out of Stone”) is a free Virginia Tech alumni society for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning and alumni allies."

The Interloper: Virginia Tech's LGBT Magazine - "The Interloper's focus is to create a space for advocates of the queer community to voice their perspectives and opinions. We are dedicated to opening up discussion regarding queer issues and presenting progressive content through a queer lens. With this in mind, we hope to provide a reflection of the diverse queer community in Southwestern Virginia and beyond."
Career Services for LGBT Students - This is the section of VT Career Services that aims to help LGBT Students.
Graduate Student Ombudsperson - The graduate student ombudsperson helps graduate students resolve issues and address concerns that arise within the university setting. Acting as an advocate for fairness, the ombudsperson provides information about institutional policies and works to help graduate students manage conflicts, understand the university system, and learn more productive ways of communicating.
Multicultural Programs and Services at VT - Our organization is housed by the MPS and is also the location for the weekly meetings. MPS also advises other cultural student organizations, such as BSA, LASO, AASU, BOC.
LGBTQ Coordinator for Virginia Tech - Please welcome Danny Matthews! His goal is to maintain and nurture the interactions between all the different LGBTQ groups on campus (Undergraduates, Graduates, Professionals)
Safe Zone - The program that ensures certain areas on campus are safe for any person, regardless their color, race, gender, sexual preference, etc.
Safewatch - Patterned after the Neighborhood Watch program, SafeWatch promotes understanding of university policies related to harassment, discrimination or similar behaviors and provides a way to report violations of policies and community expectations that promote an inclusive campus environment.
Women's Center - Provides individual services, counseling, and advocacy. There are also numerous educational programs and other resources about sexual assault, violence against women, etc.
Cook Counseling Center - Thomas E. Cook Counseling Center provides individual counseling and group counseling for enrolled undergraduate and graduate students at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Consultation and outreach services are provided for Virginia Tech faculty, staff, and student organizations.
